DLNA - and new install with LAN

    Hi,

About to upgrade XP to Win7. I have DLNA setup and running with Twonky. Will I still need Twonky with Win7 or does it have this facility built in ?

I've also got a second computer on the LAN. I was going to keep XP on that. Is there likely to be a few problems getting that working again. The IPSs not assigned automatically.

    Any advice/info much appreciated. Thanks.

    Hello,

If you would need to remotely share your media files you would need Twonky or similar to this product especially if you have different devices and streaming media players, such as Xbox, Apple TV, Roku, smart TVs, and dozens of DLNA-compliant devices.

There's one TV and 2 DVD players connected to the LAN and we watch avi files with them. You think I would need Twonky to continue doing that? Thanks.
