Completely clear all wireless adapter settings
I have this strange problem where my home computer running Windows 7 is not able to browse the internet when connected to my network. It shows as connected with a limited connection and is never able to actually use the connection for anything.
I'm able to properly connect to the same network with different devices with the same setup, also running Windows 7. I have tried removing the SSID from the list of wireless adapters, rebooting, and connecting again with the same results. I have tried to change the SSID name and then connect to it with the same results. Absolutely nothing I have tried thus far has been able to resolve the issue.
I suspect that there are some leftover settings somewhere that is getting in the way of my laptop properly connecting. How can I completely remove all of the wireless settings from my laptop? Everything. I want to remove all traces of any wireless networks I have connected to and clear out the registry. This is the only thing I can think of that might finally solve the issue, but I am open to suggestions as well. Thanks.
