Wireless Network "No Internet Access" problem
I've got Windows 7 Professional and I've been having trouble with my wireless network. I can connect with the network but it always gives me a "No Internet Access" message and I can't use the internet. I try release/renew connections using ipconfig which sometimes work but mostly only briefly. What usually works is attempting to connect to the wireless router through my web browser but if it does work it's slow. I am able to get a second wireless network in range and that was working consistently however now it is giving me the same trouble. My primary network has also been extremely slow (under a third of the normal speeds and three-four times the latency time). I have a second PC using Windows 7 Pro and I have the same trouble. My landlords bought a range extender because the signal is week in my apartment (an apartment behind the garage at their house, not a complex) which works to boost the signal but I don't know if it's contributing to the trouble or just not broadcasting the signal correctly. I'm running a Toshiba Satellite A105-S4201 with the built-in Intel wireless antenna.
Can anyone help with this? I'm excellent with computers but networks are not my strongest suit.
