Computer doesn't have a valid IP address

    I am happy that your problem has been solved! :) It is possible for your laptop to have a static IP address at work which would not be correct at home so automatically configuring it may have solved the issue. Either way as long as the problems solved then I am happy :)

    I will get the thread to marked as solved however please do not hesitate to respond back if you have any more queries regarding to this problem.

    Was any pc in the house NOT having "auto obtain ip address"?
    They where but i fiddeld with them and then put them all back on auto obtain and reset the router and all the remembered connections and reconnected them one by one
