Somehow I cannot connect to that Dr.Web Removal tool page. I don't think I have any firewalls in place except Windows security software.

oh my god I don't believe it... It's working...
I downloaded the removal tool from another link and it did it's thing then restarted my computer and now it all works... I don't believe it. I don't believe it was so simple an issue.
In earlier posts I recall we used another tool to remove all my security programs but that changed nothing.
I'm actually a little disappointed. I feel as if I've wasted everyone's time, including my own, with such a menial, basic oversight. So, for that ignorance, I apologize.
I will be sure to fully uninstall programs that give me difficulties in the future.

What a relief, though, to have the burden lifted. My most sincere thanks to you, VistaKing, and you, UsernameIssues, for sticking with me these past weeks.
Thank you, the problem is solved.

You didn't waste anyone's time . That is what we are here for to help .

I personally never use the uninstall program built in windows I use RevoUninstaller it goes after registry keys files and folders . If that doesn't work then I use the program removal tools .

Glad you fixed your issue .

    Run TFC

TFC ( Temp File Cleaner )

    TFC

    Download TFC below

    Download link http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/TFC.exe

Drag the TFC.exe from your Downloads folder to the Desktop

Right click on TFC.exe and choose

    Click on the Start button

When its finished it will ask you to restart your PC if it doesn't restart manually .

       Tip
Make sure all of the windows are closed

       Note
TFC will empty your Recycle Bin
