You're checking for proxy settings . Can you connect to the Internet directly from your modem ? What error do you get when you try to input the router's IP address ?

Same "unable to access the network" or "network not available" error, with or without a direct connection to the router (I have it plugged in now).
Can you open Command Prompt ?
Open up a Command Prompt. Click on in type CMD . Command Prompt opens up to C:\Users\<UserName>\Desktop>_
Type ping google.com press <Enter>
How many packets send and and how received ?
Very frustrating. Seems like we've tried everything there is to try...
netsh winhttp import proxy source = FireFox doesn't work
netsh winhttp set proxy _ _ _ _ _ _ _ if I knew a proxy that worked could I put it in there? any way to figure out what FF is using?
grrrrrrrrrrrrr
You don't need proxy in a home network . Proxy is mainly used inside enterprise environments
So, is it over? Should I format and reinstall or are there still options?
Download MiniToolBox
Click on the link MiniToolBox to download
Drag the MiniToolbox.exe from the Downloads to the Desktop
Place a check next to
- Flush DNS
- Report FF proxy settings
- List IP Configuration
and click on the Go button . Upload the Result.txt file

I've read this thread and learned much stuff. However, I'm in total awe how much you two went through and there are no solutions yet... :\
