Unusual Internet Issues, Cannot Stay Connected Mostly

    The Issue

My internet constantly dies, and now I cannot stay connected for more than a few minutes. The icon in my tray will keep me connected to the both the wired and wireless devices, but I cannot reach the internet itself. (Image below.) The strange thing is though, is that I am still able to use Skype, even though nothing else works, and none of my roommates have this issue.

    Things to Note

    • Cannot stay connected for more than a few minutes
    • Restarting the adapter fixes it for a few minutes
    • Skype is still able to work while other things do not
    • In a house with roommates, none of them experience this issue
    • I use Google Chrome Primarily, but also occasionally use Firefox

Please help, this is driving me insane. And I prefer sanity.

Hamachi is by far the most likely suspect here.

Uninstall completely the version you are using, check for consistent connectivity then try using a different version of Hamachi. I've seen Hamachi cause these types of problems quite a few times in the past.

Well, since doing that my internet hasn't messed up, so I think it helped! I'm going to give it more time before I give any final word, though.

Yes give it more time, if removing this version works try using a different version of Hamachi next time, there are so many versions, some have problem and some don't.
