How do I know exactly which drivers I'm supposed to download? There's the same drivers from Intel, Atheos, and Realtek for example.
Using a wired connection simply go to the Windows Update Center and download what they have for your machine. Windows update can be accessed from the start menu.

I did that and it updated 14 new things, but it still won't allow wireless.
Hmm I wonder what could have solved it.
I'm willing to bet that after the 14 updates the wireless magically started working again after dialing in the SSID etc., since Windows updates was the last thing you tried and all.
Having found out that an older system currently running W7 64 bit can be "upgraded" to W10 if a clean install of W7 32 bit is used, do I have to also install all the upgrades also?
