    Homegroup Icon

There is a Homegroup icon stuck on my screen, it cannot be moved by dragging the icon. I would like to move it to the left hand side of the screen where my other icons are as it is stuck in the eye of my cat screen saver and is rather annoying. How do I move this thing out of the way? Many thanks.

Hello Willow, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Do you mean a Homegroup icon on your desktop?

If so, then you should be able to right click on your desktop, then click on View -> Auto arrange icons to uncheck it and be able to move desktop icons where you like on your desktop.

    Hope this helps, :)

    Icon movement resolved!

Thanks Brink/Shawn, that worked well. Usually I just have to drag any desk top icon and it will work, but this one was 'locked' firmly in place until following your instructions.
