Any way to re-load original, default Windows 7 Firewall Rules...?

    You could open the FRST.exe on the desktop . You don't need to go to system recovery .

    Make sure Fixlist.txt is saved to the desktop

    Here are the respective logs, however, I notice a problem...my brother uses the Chinese IM program QQ to talk to his friends there as he lived in China for 2 years. That last adware removal program you had me run removed files related to QQ....is it a false positive...?

    AdwCleaner removes adwares . I didn't see QQ software listed .

    Run RogueKiller .

    RogueKiller for 32bit <==== Download Link

    RogueKiller for 64bit <==== Download Link

    Click on one of the links above that goes with your Windows 7 bit versions

    Save to the Desktop.

    Close all windows and browsers

    Right click on and choose

    Press: SCAN

    provide the RKreport.txt (Mode: Scan) in your reply.

    Much better .

    This error message " ATTENTION!=====> C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MpSvc.dll Reparse point on file detected. " is gone from the FSS.txt

    How's the PC ?

    Seems fine other than his QQ install being borked from the one adware removal tool....he should be able to just reinstall that though!
