I can ping 192.168.1. and 8.8.8.8 but cmd tells me that the ping request could not find google.se

edit: the first two are pinged without any packet loss or massive latency etc

Another quick update! On a whim I rechecked "automatically detect settings" in internet options (I was told to uncheck it earlier) and now it says I'm connected to the internet! No more yellow exclamation point, but I still cannot actually use the internet and I'm getting my original proxy error again.

Edit: after a restart I'm back to that damn yellow sign again /sigh

Try to use 8.8.8.8 as dns server and 8.8.4.4 as alternative dns server :)

So, I've had some change with that. The yellow sign is gone again and my network and sharing center says I am connected to the internet, still can't do anything though. In my Local Area Connection status I am connected to the internet on IPv4, but not IPV6

Should I be setting an ip manually or something like that?

edit: I just did a netsh winhttp show proxy in cmd and is says I have direct access, no porxy server if that helps any.
