won't recognize netgear wn111v2 wireless adapter

    won't recognize netgear wn111v2 wireless adapter


    my computer is windows 7 and from what I read all I should have to do is put it in usb port and it will install. No drivers needed

    I'm pretty sure that's the model I have on my kids' PC. What you need to do is download the drivers (Windows 7) and install them prior to plugging the adaptor in. It will then prompt you when to install the adaptor, once all that's done Windows 7 will see it and you should be up and running.

    OK, I have attempted to download drivers, I get sent around in circles, fill out 1 page, then another then another and end right back where started. If I could get link or better yet someone send drivers that would be nice

    Just click on 'Continue without registering' at the bottom of the first form.

    To install the driver please follow the directions in the link carefully. You must first uninstall the old driver etc.
    WN111v2 Software Version 3.0 (supports Win7)
