    What port do you have the switch connected to on the router, wan or lan ?

    Are you certain you`re using a switch ?

    Post the exact make and model of the switch again for me, please.

    Hi, OK all 3 pc's are plugged into this 5 port switch ports 1-3
    Ethernet Switch/5-port Fast Ethernet Switch Ethernet Switch Manufacturer & Wholesale Supplier From Taiwan - Pro-Nets Technology Corp.
    This device via port 5 is then plugged into a yellow ethernet port no1 on this
    I can't get online (BT Home Hub 3) | Help | BT.com Help
    Nothing in any of the instruction books say's a specific port number should be used
    Before you ask, It is not possible to plug the 3 pc's direct into the router because the pc's are in a different part of the house and only one cable runs between them and I cannot run another 2 cables, hence the switch in the pc room.
