I think I'm going mad! I'm trying to get my Notebook PC to use the Favorites on my Desktop PC. Sometimes it works until I reboot, sometimes only after a reboot for a short while, but mostly not at all.
I've tried mapping the folder to a drive letter, using the full network path \\NIGEL-PC\Favorites, even "Offline Files Folder\Computers\NIGEL-PC\Favorites".
Any ideas?
Might be less issues using skydrive on both machines and Sync them,

I just copy the Favorites folder to a USB stick. I can then either copy the folder or contents to another machine or I can use the files to directly open windows from the stick.
Verify if you did this,
Click Start and click on your User name near the top/ right,
Right click the Favorites folder and click on Share with, Home group read-write or Specific people,
Click on the little down arrow and click on Everyone. Save.
Yes, the Favorites folder is shared OK, and I can see it in Offline Files. It is getting the right "spell" to make it actually behave as the Favorites folder that is the problem. I've tried resetting to the default using the .REG file on this forum, then resetting the new Location for the folder. I've also tried a .REG file from elsewhere:
