Internet keeps going out: Default Gateway and DNS Server error

I am running Windows 7 64-bit. My Internet connection keeps getting dropped, and when I run the troubleshooter, I can get two different messages: "(DNS server) is not responding" or "The default gateway is not available." When I get the former, I have to restart my router. Any amount of time later, my connection is dropped again. It can be a day or just a couple of minutes.

I'm using an Arris DG860A provided by time warner cable. Seems to drop more frequently when i run a P2P program. I also thought about upgrading my Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller from version 7.50.1123.2011 to version 7.073.0723.2013

    Here is my ipconfig /all:

By any chance are you aware if others are heavily utilizing the bandwidth like P2P, video streaming or heavy gaming.

My roommate and I both stream video frequently on Netflix and Youtube. I'm the only one who uses P2P and when I game I shut everything else down usually.
