Realtek Network Card in Deep Sleep Mode?

    Good day to all!

I have this problem about my onboard network drive. It is functioning last Tuesday, but now, it is not functioning. My modem indicates that it is connected to the internet but the icon tray indicator shows otherwise. My aunt that stays in the house said that there is a power shutdown that day because of the storm, and I left my PC on because I am downloading something. I tried to check Device Manager for the Network Adapter to confirm if it is only a driver problem but suprisingly, there is no Network Adapter installed. I also tried to install the Realtek driver (I am sure that my onboard network adapter is Realtek), but unfortunately, an error says "The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If deep sleep mode is enabled, please plug the cable.". What will I do to disable that Deep Sleep Mode?

P.S. I borrowed a network card from a friend of mine and tried if it will work. it turns out that it is working so my assumption is that network part of my motherboard is the faulty one.

Thanks to all who will help. :)

Hi there ... You are right about the Network Card it is a Realtek ... Try the following Turn off the PC, unplug the power cable leave it for 10 Mins .. See if that helps .. The Driver for your network can be found below

Hi there ... Seems this is a very common problem . I am sure you have tried every thing possible .Do you have a Restore Point before the issue started .. Also read the Link below there are some solutions there that have worked for some ...

Thanks for the link but I already read it before, and unfortunately, not one solved the problem. It is a very common problem but sometimes, same problem of different systems cannot be solved by same solution.. and I'm upset with that idea.

Sir, do you think any LIGHTNING STRIKES can affect communication system like my internet and can cause damage to the network port of my motherboard? I don't have enough knowledge about this. Just thinking.

BTW, I already tried restoring from the one and all of my restore points even they are 1 month ago before the problem occurred but no luck.

Hi there .. I am sorry you have not found a solution . You seem to have tried every thing possible . I can see two possible ways to fixing this issue 1 Get a new Card .. Or Reinstall Windows though there is no guarantee that would resolve the problem .. Lighting strikes can cause a lot of damage so in a way i suppose you are lucky

I already bought a new network card and with this, I can use my internet. I was just hoping that the onboard network port is still alive yet I can't use it. Reinstalling Windows is not the one I want to make, and I don't have the time to do that since I am too busy with my work. My main problem here in using a network card is forbidding me to use the High-Performance PCI-e x16 (the blue one) of my motherboard because my graphics card is bulky (a GTX 550 Ti). So, in the end, it is sorry for me I am a victim.. I think I will accept that it can't be fixed but will find any solution some day.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE LETTING THEIR PC's ON FOR DOWNLOADING, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARE NO FORECASTS OF HEAVY RAINS OR THUNDERSTORMS, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE A VICTIM, LIKE ME.

Hope no one will encounter this problem again..

    BTW, thank you, Sir maxie!

Hi there .. Since you have Installed the new Network Card . How much slower is it? There are ways to improve that but it is going to cost not that much though .. I am sure some time in the future you may have to Reinstall Windows that just might solve your problem

Comparing the two PCI-e slots that my motherboard have using the same graphics card, I need to reduce the Graphics Quality (example, in playing Elder Scrolls: Skyrim) from ULTRA to HIGH. The game is laggy when travelling outside, and it makes me dizzy..

Reinstalling Windows will always be my desperate "last resort". If you have time, can you teach me how to improve my PC's performance when using the slower PCI-e slot?

    Thanks!

Hi there .. How about a USB network adapter .. As there is no way to improve performance while you are using the slower PCI slot
