    PCI Wireless card or PCI-e

I was wondering if a wireless PCI card rated at 300mbps would perform as well as a PCI -e 300mbps. If so I could use the PCI slot allowing me to have more unused PCI-e slots for future upgrades. What do you think?

    Thanks, Marshall

Most of the higher end 802.11n PCI-e NIC's can achieve 450Mbps provided that the router is equally capable.

They will both perform the same if they are both rated at 300Mbps.

Thank you I didn't think of that.
