Create a restore point before you do it. Even if it is wrong, all you have to do is restore back to that point and nothing has changed. I would put my money on what Chev65 tells being correct.

About week ago i install from same dvd on brand new ideapad G780 and got same problems, but then I found on lenovo site driver and is worked.
