Perfectly, the W-LAN connection works fine :) Thanks alot!
In my device-manager under "Other Devices" are still 4 things,
    Ethernet-Controller
    PCI-Kommunicationcontroller (einfach)
    SM-Bus-Controller
    USB (Universal Serial Bus)-Controller

Are those things important? They seem to need an update too or?
And what other drivers will I still need now?

Again, thanks for all the help! :)

Will it update them by itself? o_o
Or how do I find out which drivers I still need?

Go to the Device Manager .. You will see a yellow triangle beside the Devices which are missing Drivers . Right click Driver Update ..

Those components might not get updated in Windows Update, but that should be the first place to try.

As long as you're certain that you posted the correct model: Acer | Download
    • download and update the Chipset drivers. That should resolve PCI, SMBus, and USB.
    • download and update LAN. that should resolve Ethernet.
    • ** Only if WU does not offer the drivers
Make sure that you select the correct bitwise version (32bit ot 64 bit)

Opps.... You'll also need the USB driver for USB 3.0 support

I forget a lot of things maxie - a privilege of being an elder

My original 'driver update' reply was only meant to address Sync's question about the four flagged devices in DevMgr. After I read your PM, I took a 2nd look and saw my opps - hence the USB 3.0 post

I figured WU would supply most of the drivers needed and that Sync is smart enough to figure out the rest.
