Any idea what did cause the deletion of some registry keys? Most likely there are more things changed/deleted .... and you don't know yet

    In CBS.log search yourself for:

So many errors!!! Since when do you have the problems? Did you have and/or remove some virus?
Yes. I see a lot of errors! But still everything works except the VPN problem.
I did not had any virus. I'm always careful. But about 1 month ago the pc wouldn't start up anymore. After I did a system repair it worked again. I could not find any reason why it had to repair something because I did not installed on my pc. Maybe because of some windows updates?

It think the best thing to try is "startup repair" Repair Install
You have a win7 install DVD? You know your win7 product key (look at COA sticker on back of laptop)

Yes. I guess there is no other option. I will start with it this weekend. If startup repair don't work then I have time enough for a re-install.
Still it's strange that there is no way to re-install the wan-miniports.

    Thanks for your support.

What if you simply uninstall them? reboot and check if they come back again. You have so many strange errors!
