    Post subject: Question about bridge connection ?



    hello friends.

    I have two local connections on my PC, one for file sharing , and the other for Internet connection .

    in the local 1 I have an Ip address for sharing , and in the local 2 I have DHCP


    I made a bridge connection and put an ip for this bridge , I did put share IP and DHCP ip , but I have a problem , when I tried to add mor IPs there's no place for another gateway ?!

    I think I've missed something , but I'm not sure what is it .

    You can only have one default gateway per interface. Can you post your IPconfig/all so we can get a better understanding of what is going on...

so before i did my upgrade i had my 360 bridged to my desktop via usb wireless adapter for my xbox live to work. i do this because i am to cheap to buy the adapter for it, and hooking a cable up with cause some huge problems with my cat (it likes to chew wires) when i go into the networking...

Have a question, when i bridged 2 connections in my laptop, why is it that, the other computers are unable to connect to the internet and that include mine...is there a way to fix it? Please advise. Thank you.
I was able to bridge a wireless connection through my laptop to my xbox 360 with vista but with windows 7 it doesn't seem to work. Anyone else having this problem?
