    Homegroup Trying to leave

Homegroup - Add or Remove from Navigation Pane

    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Classes\CLSID\{B4FB3F98-C1EA-428d-A78A-D1F5659CBA93}\ShellFolder
The above Reg location in the Win 7 registry does not exist for the 64 Bit Part.

I cannot leave the homegroup either. This tutorial needs to be updated and corrected,

OK, I did as you said and I still cannot leave the Homegroup. First off I never set one up.

It's very easy to set one up inadvertently although I can't imagine why you can't leave in this case, of course the problem may be because of the registry adjustment and I believe I misread your first statement.

Maybe you are trying to remove the Homegroup icons for some reason but I can't help you there.

I have done everything that you asked and it is still there. All I wanted to do was what was in THe Tutorial and I have done that and it does not worked either. Thanks for trying, I am done Fooling with this.

I ended up deleting everything in

    Code:
    C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking\idstore.sst
including PeerNetworking and then I deleted the two Homegroup services and now it is gone. Thanks for your help , I did rep you.:)
