Can't find remote desktop conection Windows 7

Hi, I have purchased a virtual private server and want to access it. However I can't find the "Remote desktop connection" option into the computer. I have searched and saw several tutorials about it but there are things missing from my computer

As you can see for example here are missing some options:

This is from one of the tutorials I saw:

Then when I go to search for the "Remote desktop connection" option I cant find it anywhere in "Start". I manage to find accessories but only from my folders and I cant find the "Remote desktop connection" option there neither. Anyway even if I found it does it supposed to work through "Start" and not from the folders?

    Thank you

Your specs show you have the Home Premium edition of Windows 7. You should be able to make remote connections, but a Home Premium can not be remotely connected and controlled using Remote Desktop. That's why that option is missing, the option is only needed to enable incoming connections, not outgoing.

This warning from our tutorial Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) - Network

       Warning
While all editions of Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 can be a remote desktop client...
    • Only the Vista Business, Ultimate, and Enterprise editions can host a remote desktop connection.
    • Only the Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise editions can host a remote desktop connection.
    • Only the Windows 8 Pro and Enterprise editions can host a remote desktop connection.

Terminology is a bit difficult, the computer you connect remotely to is called a host, and the computer you are using to connect remotely to another computer is called a client.

To start Remote Desktop, type mstsc.exe to Run dialog (WIN + R), hit Enter and give the address of remote server.

    Link fixed.

Read my answer one more time: Yes, you can use your Windows Home Premium to connect to other Windows computers using Remote Desktop. No, your Home Premium cannot be controlled using Remote Desktop from another Windows computer.

Hi Kari, sorry if I ask twice but I just want to connect to my vps I have purchased. Can you pls tell me how can I do that? I am asking based of your answer: "Yes, you can use your Windows Home Premium to connect to other Windows computers using Remote Desktop"

I dont need my computer to be accessed. I want to access my vps and operate from there.

    Thank you :)

Please read my first post in this thread once again, as I asked you to do in my second post. I'm feeling a bit lost, not knowing how else I could get this to you.

Last paragraph of my first post:
    Kari said:

The procedure is well described with screenshot examples in the tutorial I linked to in my first post.
