    Folder in use when deleting.

    Hi guys

Thought I would post this in case it was of use to someone experiencing this, I haven't seen this as a solution anywhere else.

I regularly get a folder reported as locked by another process when I am trying to delete it, especially on network shares, even though I know that there is nothing that should be holding it.

The file in use is usually thumbs.db, if it happens, try switching your explorer window to tile mode, I find this releases the lock and allows the delete, I have no idea why it works but it does.

    Regards

Thumbs is a hidden file used for thumbnails. Using tiles or any other view other than thumbnails will release the lock, as its not showing the thumbnail. Which is why this works.

---For anyone else having problems deleting files---

Try restarting the pc first. Then try:

    Try unlocker
