IP conflict error. Another computer on this network has the same IP address as this computer. Contract your network administrator for help resolving this issue. More details are available in the Windows System event log. HELP !!!
This is pretty straight forward, like the error states:
How are your IP addressed being handed out?Another computer on this network has the same IP address as this computer.
Automatically, using DHCP? or manually, typed in?
If obtained via DHCP it may be worth running the attached application below which will automatically will automatically retrieve a new unused one.
NoteThe application will restart the machine after completion and any static IP configuration will be reset.
Typically this error is presented by a static IP conflict since DHCP should hand out a new IP address if a conflict is detected.
