TKIP is basically an outdated encryption that sometimes doesn't play well with the final wireless N draft.
You should try AES encryption in the routers settings then delete the old wireless profile and create a new one designating the new settings. For best possible wireless N speeds you should use the 802.11n Only settings rather than mixed. |

Connect router wirelessly to main router Recently I bought a TP-Link WR841N router and, unaware of what it needed, there had to be an ethernet cable coming from the main router (BT Homehub 3) for it to work.
