How do I turn OFF Wifi Netgear 150N model WNR1000v.-whatever

this is nuts.... how to merely disable wifi, period.
turn OFFF the wifi radio on shiny new Netgear WNR1000.... I have the "easy setup manual" and find no reference to the task

There is a setting to turn off SSID broadcast, but if the "WIFI On" lamp/LED on the unit is reliable indicator of the radio's carrier band, it is still "on"

there should be a wireless on/off button somewhere on the router. I dont have this model so i dont know exactly where it is on yours. But go here and you should be able to find out how to do it: Netgear
