Limit sharing to a single computer/folder on home network?

Hi, is there a way to share files from only a single location on a home network? The "server" would be a Windows 7 machine. The others are 7 or 8. We don't want computers on the network to "see" any other computers, only the one w/shared files, and only that specific directory (they s/b able to add folders there).

We have a homegroup set up for printer sharing. Network discovery is currently off. Thank you.

Turning off Network discovery should prevent the other machines from seeing those machines on the network.

If you only want one file shared on one of the Homegroup machines then turn off Network discovery on all the other machines then for each folder you need to hide choose "Share With" then "Stop Sharing".
