Random internet disconnection? more frequent during night

    Hello,

When i'm on my computer my internet randomly disconnects or get the yellow triangle sign and the problem is fixed when i restart my router. This mostly happens at similar times at 10pm and sometimes randomly.

When i'm playing an online game it suddenly freezes which means I have no internet but when I go on google chrome i can get into youtube but no other sites. It says i'm connected to the internet and youtube is the only site that is functionally during this weird period. facebook, google search, any site you can think of wont open and just keep loading.

The problem is fixed either waiting around 5-10 minutes and suddenly all sites load again and i can re-login to my game or just restarting the router.

I have a TP-LINK router model TP-W8950ND and have the latest firmware.

I currently use avast antivirus 2014 have scanned everything and seems fine.

Could it be my router or my ISP?

    Thanks

Do you have a proxy server configured?

it could very well be a issue on the ISP end of things. I might want to contact them to see if any issues are happening in your area. If you contact them and they there are no issues; then im thinking its most likely the router. Do you have another system or laptop to test the router on; if so i would go that route to see whether or not you have the problem with the other system.

    Hi there,

In addition.... are there other people in your household that perhaps heavily utilizing the data around that time? You might want to ask them if they're heaving a similar issue.

Can you please post your Speedtest?

An update of your progress will be nice.
