Team viewer continuously not connecting repeatedly asking for proxy au

Hi
I keep getting the above problem. Even though Internet works for no issue with browsing. Internet Explorer proxy was set to auto detect and browsing was ok. But team viewer was asking for proxy authentication. Team viewer was tested using both auto detect proxy settings and manual proxy settings .
I always entered the correct credentials with right access set in tmg but it won't accept the credentials and would repeatedly ask for authentication. I also tried manually entering the proxy in internet Explorer and tried again team viewer with manual and auto detect settings. But no luck

Also windows credentials manager have no passwords saved.

I tried restarting the application and also restarted system few times but no luck.

We are using Microsoft tmg. I have few questions on tmg authentication as well. When does it asks for authentication? How does it relates to the Internet Explorer proxy settings? Ie auto detect proxy amd manually entering proxy. And how amd when is it saved in credentials manager.

User was logged in with his own domain account and he has sufficient rights . and his account was not locked out and was tested to be working. Also team viewer was working Earlier . it suddenly stopped.
And started this behavior.
I often face such issues with a lot of applications.

I have observed that when we set proxy settings manually in internet Explorer it asks for tmg authentication and it also saves the credentials in credentials manager.

Any idea?

I know this much later and I'm using teamviewer 10, but the fix for me was simple. Download and reinstall over the existing teamviewer 10. Working fine now. I didn't uninstall the one I had, I just did the install over it.
