Attempted Share to Libraries Results in "Folder Not Indexed" Error

Hi all. I am unable to get a shared folder from one user account on the same machine to add to another user account's Libraries due to this "folder not indexed" error. The same thing occurs when trying to add across the network to a different computer for a different user account's Libraries.

The folder permissions are set correctly, and they can be browser through Explorer. Just can't get them to add to Libraries.

I have Drive Indexing turned off on my C:\ drive, as the OS is on an SSD. I believe the consensus is turning off indexing is best for the life of such a drive. Is this where my conflict lies? Is there a fix or work-around?

    Thx,
    Kov

    Hi Kov,

You're asking if disabling Disk properties: Allow files on this drive to have contents indexed in addition to properties
on an SSD would cause the issue on your machine.

    Probably not.

You might see if rebuilding the index solves it for you: Index - Rebuild
