File sharing between Desktop and Laptop via ADSL Wifi router

    Hi,

I have a laptop and a desktop - both running windows 7 ultimate.

Desktop is connected via LAN cable to a TP Link ADSL cum Router. Laptop is connected to router via wireless access point.

I want to transfer files between laptop and desktop

I have assigned home network to both of them.
    Turned off password protected sharing
Shared Drives in both of them with full access to everyone in settings.

Still I am not able to share files between them.

    Any suggestions?

On wired desktop and wireless laptop:
    In "command prompt"
    Code:
    ipconfig
Part of output is something like:
    IPv4-adres. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.10
    Subnetmasker. . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
    Standaardgateway. . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1

Are the addresses really starting with 192.168? Next number (0 in my case) is the same on wired and wireless machine? They have same subnet mask and default gateway?

Assume PCA has ip address 192.168.15.3.
Assume PCB has ip address 192.168.15.4.

    Still in command prompt:
    On PCA: ping 192.168.15.4
    On PCB: ping 192.168.15.3

So can they ping each other?
