    Internet doesnt saves proxy settings

    hi
i have windows 7 enterprise latest updated and internet explorer 10 (cant move to 11 due to compatagbility issues) .

internet explorer doesn't refinements the proxy settings.

we have set it to auto detect and it automatically gets unticked.

it is a domain environment and we are only having issues on few computers (2-3 out of 300 computers)..

on one computer even if proxy is unchecked we are still behind proxy and can browse internet while on another we cannot browse internet.
    thanks

    Hi there,

Your IT Dept. should be able to check the GPO configured from the Server. Verify that those affected computers have the latest Windows Updates installed and have the IE Supported by the GPO.

I think the GPO is gonna affect all users to whom it is applied. Another users in same ou are not affected.

    My windows is updated.
Only I am using Intrnet explorer 10. Because few apps so not work in ie 11.

Maybe there will be a clue in the directions to set up a proxy server in IE > Change proxy server settings in Internet Explorer - Microsoft Windows Help

You should be having no problems saving the proxy settings unless they are being over ridden by something else.

Also, you might want to scan (it won't hurt at all) for any possible malware/spyware if there are only 3 computers that are affected. I use Eset, Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware.
