    Hide General Tab


    Hello, Can any body let me know how to hide or show General Tab after we right click on a folder or file?
    Or Ca we hide READ ONLY or HIDDEN in General Tab after we right click on a folder or a file?

    I'm going to guess that you are wanting to prevent someone from changing those file attributes - correct?

    If so, then there are other ways to change file attributes. You might be better off using multiple user accounts and setting the NTFS permissions to prevent unwanted changes.

    Yes that's right you are! Also this option make effective on that file or folder only system that we set NTFS Permission but when we copy that file or folder to other computer, it's will not effect.
    So we still have the way to make that file effect all even other computer?

    I forget about setting up NTFS permission, if you not mind please let show me.

    I don't know how to hide those items from the general tab.

    I don't know how to hide the general tab.

    If there is a way to hide what you want to hide, you would have to do it on every computer.
