    Can't delete a file


    Hope this is in right forum- my apologies if incorrect.

    For the first time, I tried to delete a file and cannot!
    Never had this problem - I also downloaded a program that is supposed to put a "take ownership" choice when you right click the file - NOT!!

    It kept saying " admin only" - which I am.

    I then changed control to my user name as well and now it say I need my own permission!

    What can I do? I even said "move it" to a different hdd where I had more room- it move it but left the original file as well.

    All entries have full control.

    Also ran Lockhunter, which always worked in this kind of situation - not now.



    Any advice appreciated.
