    RDP sessions via SSLVPN failing


    Hi,
    I'm trying to get a terminal server session via SSLVPN going. I browse to a website using https (I use IE 11) and authenticate. I then get presented with a link which when clicked, launches an RDP session to a remote host. This RDP session fails to establish. It worked fine when I was on XP but since upgrading to Windows 7 its failing. I've tried disabling my AV and attempting the connection, but it still fails.
    Anything else anyone can suggest trying?

    Yesterday MS published update KB 2923545 for RDP.
    If you haven't installed this update, you might install it and give that a try.
    If you did install the update, you might try uninstalling it.

    This article describes an update for the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) 8.1 in Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. This update package provides the following improvements:

    Fixes connection reliability issues.
    Provides better error messages for connection failures.
    Source: Update for RDP 8.1 is available for Windows 7 SP1

    I don't use RDP and haven't installed it, but Windows Update does show it ready to install for me.

    Thanks DavidW7ncus. The update wasn't installed so I've installed it but the problem persists. I've since upgraded Java and played with its setting and it all works fine.
