    Network works one way only.

Network works one way only. (Windows 7)
I have a PC and a laptop that I have selected as being in the same workgroup.
I selected both of them with identical sharing and security definitions.
Nevertheless, it works only one way: from PC to laptop. I can enter laptop folders from PC but when I try to enter a PC folder from the laptop, I receive the message: “You do not have permission to access PC. Contact your network administrator to request access”.
Each computer has only one account:- the administrator.
How can I make this contact or how can I solve the problem otherwise?

Assuming the security and sharing settings are the same "which is controlled at the C:\Users folder then about the only thing that would prevent the share from working is if the Advanced Sharing settings aren't correct, this assumes that some third party anti virus isn't causing the problem which they are famous for?

You can check the Advanced Sharing settings via the Network and Sharing Center, make sure that Network Discovery, File and Printer Sharing etc. are enabled on both machines.
