    Internet turns off after reboot

Hello, like a week ago I've installed windows 7 update. After reboot it failed then rebooted again, reverted it. And it goes every time booting the pc. Now I did system restore and I think this problem is solved, but internet still doesn't turn on as it didn't after that update. So I have to disable network connection and run troubleshooter to fix it. Troubleshooter ran before disabling connection does nothing. Any suggestions?

Disable the Lan in bios. Boot to Windows. Turn off pc. Enable the Lan in bios. Boot to Windows.

    Did that help any?

Doesn't work. In bios lan was enabled, tried disabling, rebooting and enabling again. Didn't work.

Try simply renaming the LAN connection. Reboot.

    If no good...

In device manager, uninstall your network adapter.
    Reboot.
Windows will install the adapter for you now.
It has a decent chance of fixing this.

Can't find where to rename connection.

Tried the second option. Worked for one boot. Then after rebooting couldn't turn on network at all, even by disabling/troubleshooting, so had to reboot once again to turn network on.

What are your specs as far as the network card is concerned? Is it a wireless card? What type of computer are you using?

For renaming, network and sharing center. Click change adapter settings. Right click Local Area Connection, choose rename.

I suspect this will not work based on your last post, though.

Post a screenshot of command prompt when you copy and paste this command then hit enter. I or others may pick up on something going on.

    ipconfig /allcompartments /all

Go into device manager and uninstall the devices under network adapters with Microsoft in its name. Make sure there is only one device left when done: Intel(R) 82566DM-2 Gigabit Network Connection.

Or if you're not sure, post a screenshot of what's there.

    Reboot after.

Unrelated, but you may disable IPv6 also if you are not using Homegroup.

Was this a clean install or an upgrade?
