Solved internet all of a sudden not connecting

so i just woke my laptop up from sleep and type in my password to find out my internet is not connected this happened to me yesterday when i got home from work to find out it was not connected i had to reset the box yesterday to get it working again and its happening again today our other computers are connecting to the internet, but mine how can i fix this without having to go through the trouble of resetting the box

I'd try a System Restore first see if it helps, restore it to a point when all is well.
If System Restore didn't help, try disabling the Power Management mode of the problematic ethernet adapter from Device Manager (see attached image) Is this a Wi-Fi issue?

neither of these worked i did a system restore no go i did the other thing no go and then i got windows was unable to connect to my network this is pissing me off to where i am about to call my internet company and tel them to stick their.piece of junk equopment up to where the sun don't shine

Updating the ethernet driver might help.

Is your issue wired or wireless connected to your Wi-Fi network?

this is a wireless issue, I got it running now, but when I turn my computer on tomorrow it will all of a sudden not work again and then I will have to reset the modem and I also have the same issue on my cell phone when I am at school or somewhere else it connects just fine, but when I get home it will stay disconnected our desktop and other laptop is not having any issues

i figured I should report back on my situation my internet is working as it should now as I do believe it was Comcast messing with their system, no more not connected- connections are available its connecting right away and its working on my phone again thanks for your help
