    VMware Network Adapter possibly not working


    I've been playing around on some multiplayer games and it was a lot slower than usual, i tried plugging my ethernet cable in, the LED glowed and when i turned wireless off, there was no connection, i have tried disabling/re-enabling the driver, updating the driver, but nothing i have tried fixed the problem! Plz Help!
    Oh and I know the cable works because it gives internet to the other computer in my house with Windows Vista Home Premium.

    Are you playing the games on host or in vmware player?

    If host:

    I had problems with strange performance and network slowness issues before caused by vmware player.
    If you want to increase performance and see if disabling the network adapters solves the issue, see here:

    Not a program, but great for people using vmware player...

    Also make sure you have the latest version of vmware player:
