    Printer setup

We have a new Canon MG7120 Wireless Printer & I was wondering if I could get some suggestions on network setup.

This is what I would like to do:
Connect the printer to the router by Ethernet so any laptop/tablet can see the printer through it's wireless connection.

But would this be a better choice:
Connect the printer to the router wirelessly so any laptop/tablet can see the printer through it's wireless connection?

What would the pros & cons be for either setup? Also, do I need to install the printer's software on each device no matter which setup I choose?

Wired or wireless doesn't matter much, which ever is easier for you, although in some cases it may be easier to set up the printer using a wired connection or a USB connection then change over to using a wireless connection after it's set up.

Generally speaking, you will need to install the printer drivers onto each machine that need to use it.
