Shared local printer problems with 32 bit and 64 bit networked PCs

I have 2 PCs that are networked via a broadband hub.

PC 1 has Windows 7 Professional 32 bit and a HP Color Laserjet connected to it via a USB port. The printer is set to share with the other PC.

PC 2 has Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and a OKI C511 connected to it via a USB port. The printer is also set to share with the other PC.

The 64 bit PC can print OK using the HP printer but when I try and print using the OKI from the 32 bit PC the print job enters the queue but never actually prints. The print queue can only be cleared by going into the printer spool folder files as described elsewhere on this forum.

The OKI driver is the same for both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows 7. Is there anything I can do to resolve this issue ?

Thanks for any help or advice you can provide

Are the drivers for the OKI installed on both machines?

When I click on drivers in the print server properties on the 32 bit PC it shows:

    x86 Type3 - User Mode

When I do the same for the 64 bit PC it shows:

    x64 Type3 - User Mode

    Thanks
