    Unable to sync from my computer


    Hello,
    This is my first post so I apologize in advance for any errors or missteps.
    I have a desktop computer and an asus laptop with Windows 7. I went to the sync center on the desk top and a message appeared letting me know I could not sync from this computer.
    I would appreciate any help in how to sync the two. If it is not possible to use the sync center to do this, what are my best alternatives?
    I am a very basic user so I hope any steps recommended will be easy to follow!

    So you want to sync files between your 2 pcs?

    Are they on the same network?

    You can use a home group for that in terms of getting them connected:

    Homegroup - Create

    Thanks but as one of my computers is a desktop and the other a laptop the solution won't work for me.
    I need a very simple program, I guess, to sync the two computers so that my document and picture files can be the same on both computers.

    What about onedrive? You can install it and use it to sync files.
