    Question about wi fi (screenshot)


    Hi everyone, my question is i use an ethernet cable to get internet but do have wi fi capability , i don't use wi fi and don't even have a router , when i looked at Speccy, the circled names in the screenshot are my neighbors wi fi names .

    Is this normal ?

    Yeah. It's normal. Speccy gathers every information including the WiFi scan. You can easily disable your WiFi NIC on the device manager if don't want programs scanning for WiFi APs.

    Thank you , won't disabling them show a yellow icon in device manager?

    In Win 7, a disabled device should appear as a down arrow (e.g. i disabled my Logitech cam)
