Phantom WiFi
Hey guys, I found it slightly odd that Windows 7 detected my wireless access point (my router, D-link DIR 655) while I was installing the OS, but I find it even weirder how I can connect to it.
What makes it so weird? I have no wireless adapter installed in my computer. The only thing close to that is the piece of junk that came on my motherboard (ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe w/WiFi AP). I have the adapter disabled through the BIOS, the antenna for it is unplugged, and drivers need to be installed for it to work at all anyway.
Has anyone else ever experienced this? I can connect to it just fine and browse the web at full speed, but again, I have no adapter... Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining
