    No ethernet or wireless suddenly!

    Hello,

I am having real issues with both wired and wireless connections. Basically, I don’t have either all of a sudden. One day my system was fine, the next nothing. I have searched and carried out all the obvious and non-obvious ideas but have got nowhere. I have even been out and bought a new Netgear WNDA3100v2 and NIC. Everything is recognised by Windows but will not connect to the internet. Please can anyone help. I suspect and fear that it is a Windows problem and that I will have to reload the OS. (Win7 64bit)

Ok. So after a week down and no response from this site I went digging around on my system again. I went into the device manager and looked at all hidden devices. On the list was a JumpStart Wireless Filter Driver error. Going back to the status of my connections, both wired and wireless, clicked on properties, found the JumpStart Wireless Filter and unchecked the box.

    All working now!
