How do I limit Internet access?

    Hi,

I work for a small company that wants to limit internet access to an approved list of sites. I've tried limiting thru the proxy server (127.0.0.1), and that worked pretty well, however that seems to clash with hotmail. In addition, whenever I try to open an attached document with email, nothing happens. Are there any resolutions or fixes for this, or should I try something else? Please keep in mind that the owner wants to spend very little to nothing if I can help it. Thanks for any help.

    Welcome to Seven Forums,

Modern routers support Quality of Service or QoS?

Also, there are free utility that you may experiment, please check out this one.

If your work can afford a hardware device such as Sonicwall, the TZ series it will do a lot more. I'm a big fan of this device btw.
