The connection was unsuccessful. Limited Connectivity. Adapter Problem

    Hi,

I'm using an Acer Aspire One Laptop which has suddenly started running very slowly and taking a long time to shut down and restart. I'd like to update all the drivers and malware software but can't currently get online.

When connecting to my usual wireless network I get the error: "The connection was unsuccessful. This computer currently has limited connectivity to NETWORKNAME".

If I click on "troubleshoot problems" the ultimate outcome is "There might be a problem with the driver for the Wireless Network adapter".

Connection via an ethernet cable isn't possible.

If I run ipconfig /all I get this:

    Primary Dns suffix: (blank)
    Node Type: Hybrid
    IP Routing Enabled: No
    WINS Proxy Enabled: No

    Tunnel adapter Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface

    Media State: Media disconnected
    Connection-specific DNS suffix: (blank)
    Description: Teredo tunneling Pseudo-Interface
    Physical Address: 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-E0
    DHCP Enabled: No
    Autoconfiguration Enabled: Yes
    Grateful for any advice.

    Many thanks,
    Sam

You could be describing exactly what is happening to my PC at the moment. Driven me mad all day. Work from home, so no internet access is beyond frustrating.
Worked fine on Friday, when I started Pc on Saturday wouldn't connect to internet. Not uncommon and I thought all it needed was a router reset. Left things all day Sunday came to the system this morning and have tried literally everything and followed so many supposed fixes, all to no avail.

I have almost exactly the same scenario as OP and similar ipconfig results.

    Help please?
