Unidentified Network No Internet access.
Hello to the list,
I have a problem with a PC of my friend that i had to reinstall the O.S.
When I try to connect to the Internet, cannot connect.
Under the taskbar, where there is the little one monitor that indicates the connection,
I see the blue circle spinning on it, but after a few seconds comes a yellow triangle.
If I put the mouse over it says:
Unidentified Network No Internet access.
The PC has as motherboard ASROCK K8NF6G-VSTA
and as Network card built-in Nvidia GeForce motherboard.
As operating system Windows 7.
As Router Linksys WAG200.
I also noticed that the little lights on the network card are not on and if I try to get into the router
with the IP address does not make me happen. I do not get even the id and password request page.
I'm sure both the router and the network cable are functioning because i use them on my own PC.
I am also sure that the build-in network works because i have tried to take off the Windows 7 and
installed the old Windows XP and it connetcted to the internet also with the light off.
Maybe it could be the network drivers for Windows 7 that i cannot findon the net.
Someone tell me what it might be and how to solve?
Thanks in advance.
Enzo
