Windows 7 Pro logging into Samba domain controller
I have searched the forums for two weeks and I still cannot log into a Samba domain controller. I have tried everything suggested including upgrading my version of Samba to 3.3.4 and it only made matters worse. After two weeks, I am able to have my laptop join the domain, but after I reboot and try to log into the domain as a user, it keeps giving me the lost trust error, meaning that the creds were rejected. I have tried every combo of enabling and disabling of the RequiredSignOrSeal and RequireStrongKey registry entries and still nothing. If anyone has a patch or another workaround to get this working, I am all ears. The funny thing about all of this is when I log into the local host account, I can see the other machines on the domain. Could this mean I am actually logging into the domain and I don't even know it or is that a whole other issue seeing as how the login screen is telling me I am logging into the local machine? Again, any help would be appreciated!
